PHOTOGRAPHS FROM WINTER SOLDIER '08 by Chante Wolf
This is the Minnesota contingent of Iraq Veterans Against the War, who attended every panel at Winter
Soldier in support of their IVAW brothers and sisters. They are the future of America. Their dedication,
insights and action, with the support of all concerned veterans and conscious souls across all wars,
generations and geographic boundaries, will cause the end to the occupations. Just watch them go.

Russ Scheidler served in the U.S.
Marine Corps, 1969-1972. Russ was
one of four brothers serving
simultaneously in the Marine Corps.
His older brother, Ed Worthley, died
as a result of two tours in Vietnam,
which prohibited Russ from serving
there. Instead, Russ was ordered to
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. After
discharge from the Marines, he was
a member of VVAW.
